Arnoldo "Lolo" Zapata, 80, of Kingsville, TX passed away December 12, 2022, in Corpus Christi, TX.
He was born on November 25, 1942, in Kingsville, TX to Estanislado and Baudilia Zapata.
He retired from Fulton Construction after 20+ years of service that contributed to building schools, businesses, and hospitals throughout Corpus Christi and surrounding areas as a senior carpenter. He was a devoted husband and enjoyed spending time with his wife, taking daily walks and working together on projects at home. His grandchildren have fond memories of the many holidays spent together.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Teresa M. Zapata; and one son, Arnold Zapata Jr.
He is survived by two children: Tami Munoz of Ricardo, TX (husband JR Munoz and sons Lucas and Greg), and Steve Zapata of Leander, TX (wife Veronica Zapata and daughters Alex and Elizabeth); as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, 12-16-2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Home, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, 12-17- 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating.
A Cremation will follow and a private Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
