Antonia R. Alvarez, 99, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away on August 28, 2025, in Kingsville, Texas.
Born on January 30, 1926, in Bishop, Texas, to the late Jose Angel Rosas and Gregoria Martinez, Antonia lived a life filled with devotion and a deep appreciation for family. She was a retired housewife who cared for her family. She was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church who had strong faith.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose G. Alvarez; and one son, Luis R. Alvarez.
She is survived by her son, Enrique R. Alvarez of Kingsville; two grandchildren, Rick Alvarez, and Erica Alvarez; and four great-grandchildren, Anthony Alvarez, Matthew Velasquez, Makayla Velasquez, and Malachi Velasquez.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating. Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
