Obituary

Anita Alfaro Rojas, 65, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away on June 16, 2023.
She was born on July 31, 1957, in Kingsville, Texas to Jesus and Grace Alfaro.
She graduated from Texas A & I with a Bachelor of Science degree. After graduation, she began her teaching career in Robstown. After her first year, she began teaching 7th and 8th grade math for Riviera ISD. She taught a total of 29 years. In her time teaching, she formed so many wonderful relationships with her students, as well as her colleagues. Anita strived to make every child the best version of themselves regardless of his/her classroom ranking.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and friend. Anita was a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others. She always put her family and friends before herself. She spent most of her retirement baking, traveling, crafting, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved the Houston Astros and the Corpus Christi Hooks. Most importantly, she loved watching her grandchildren play in all their extra curricular activities . What brought her joy in her most recent years was her great-grandchild. She will be greatly missed by all.
She is preceded in death by one brother, Robert Alaniz.
Survivors include her husband of 15 years, Emilio H. Garcia of Kingsville; two sons, Robert (Valerie) Rojas of Kingsville, Joe Edward (Christine) Rojas of Conroe, Texas; one daughter, Kathryn (Kevin) Sealey of Hollywood, Maryland; four sisters, Linda Baker, Janice Alfaro, Mary Lou Alfaro, and Cynthia Snyder; nine grandchildren, Avery, Caleb, Jarett, Gracie, Edward, Abigail, Madison, Jaxson, and Allison; one great-grandson, Mateo; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home,
A Rosary will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church.
A private Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements under the direction of Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
