Anita H. Montez, 85, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away September 3, 2020 in Kingsville, Texas.
She was born on June 13, 1935 in Kingsville, TX to Mr. and Mrs. Monico and Guadalupe Hernand.
She was a retired healthcare provider and was also a member of St. Gertrude's Catholic Church. She loved gardening, shopping, and her cats.
She is preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include her husband, Rogelio Elizondo of Kingsville, TX; two daughters, Maggie "Mel" Ruiz of Ben Bolt, TX and Terry (Jesse) Arrellano of Kingsville, TX; four sons, Ernesto (Alma) Pruneda of Calallen, TX, Rick Quintanilla of Kingsville, TX, Michael (Cindy) Quintanilla of Kingsville, TX, and Javier (Beatriz) Quintanilla of Kingsville, TX; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thurs., 09-10-2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas
Funeral Home.
