Angela M. Gonzales, 82, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026, in Houston, Texas, surrounded by love.
She was born on May 23, 1943, in Kingsville, Texas, to Alfonso Montoya Sr. and Josefa Cevillo Montoya. Angela dedicated her life to her family as a devoted homemaker and caregiver. She was the heart of her home—a loving and selfless wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Known especially for her wonderful cooking and nurturing spirit, Angela had a way of making everyone feel welcomed and cared for. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will forever be remembered and deeply missed.
Angela is reunited in eternal rest with her beloved husband, Amadeo Q. Gonzales, and her cherished son, Jesus Baldemar Gonzales.
She is survived by her loving son, Israel Gonzales Sr. (Laura); her sister, Yolanda Montoya; her grandchildren, Anna Lee, Lorilee, Israel Jr., Angelica, Jesus "Bito," Jennifer, Rogelio, and Bobby; along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will continue to carry her legacy of love.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, with Father Paulson officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
