Anastacia M. Martinez, 89, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2014 in Corpus Christi, TX.
She was born on October 23, 1924 in Kingsville, TX to Nazario and Adela Munoz Sr.
She was a retired homemaker, and a former volunteer at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Nazario (Shelly) Munoz Jr. and son, Filiberto (Filo) Martinez.
Survivors include one daughter, Delia (Araceli, Carlos, Noe) Martinez of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Enrique Munoz of Corpus Christi and Jesus Munoz of McAllen; two sisters, Gertrudis Cortez of Tomball and Manuela Garcia of Kingsville; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tues., 2-18-2014 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Tues., 2-18-2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wed., 2-19-2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with Deacon Richard Costley officiating.
Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
