Amelia L. Garza, 94, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025.

Born on February 3, 1931, in Taft, Texas, Amelia was the beloved daughter of Andres and Josefa Lopez. Throughout her life, she exemplified love, strength, and unwavering dedication to her family.

Amelia worked for many years as a cashier at Allen's Grocery, where she was known for her warm smile and kind spirit. Beyond her professional life, she devoted herself selflessly as a caregiver to both her mother and sister—roles she embraced with grace and compassion.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Garza Jr.; two brothers, Antonio Lopez and Raymond Lopez; and one sister, Rosalinda Lopez.

Amelia leaves behind a legacy of love through her family: her son, Juan Ramirez Jr. (Sandra) of Kingsville; six cherished grandchildren, David, Marcella, Juan III, Lisa, Amelia, and Nicole; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her three brothers, Andres Lopez Jr., Esequiel Lopez, and Teodoro Lopez.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a memorial service beginning at 5:00 p.m. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Amelia will be remembered for her nurturing heart, quiet strength, and deep devotion to those she loved.
