Amador A. Gonzalez, 88, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away October 28, 2022, in Kingsville, Texas.
He was born on December 16, 1933, in Tivoli, Texas to Santiago and Felipe Gonzales.
God made many men, but Amador was a truly kind, hardworking, honorable, and loving man. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to those who needed help. He was a great husband and provider. Amador loved his wife and children with all his heart and might. For that, we are forever thankful that he was a part of our lives and family. He loved to crack jokes and always tried to make everyone laugh. He loved to watch football and boxing. The Dallas Cowboys was his favorite football team. He was talented. He loved to draw pictures of birds, dogs, horses, and flowers. He loved to build wood patio furniture in his spare time. He retired from Alamo Lumber Co. and was a member of Central Baptist Church. We will miss him dearly and he will always have a special place in our hearts.
He is preceded in death by one son, Rogelio Rodriguez; five brothers, Melquides, Santos, Guadalupe, Alfredo and Adolfo Gonzales.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Antonia R. Gonzalez of Kingsville; four daughters, Gloria Cavazos of Kingsville, Sylvia Ozuna of Kingsville, Yolanda (Jose Arturo) Garcia of Kingsville, and Noelia Martinez of George West; two sons, Jose Manuel Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, and Roberto Rodriguez of Kingsville; one sister, Consuelo Barrera of Refugio, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., with a Religious Service at 6:30 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Central Baptist Church with Pastor Servando Torres officiating.
Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
