Amada J. Mercado, 94, of Kingsville, TX passed away March 23, 2024, in Kingsville, TX.

She was born on August 17, 1929, in Bishop, Texas.

She was employed with Don's Cleaners for 25 years and worked for Kingsville Laundry for 15 years. She also worked for Integrity Industry cleaning the office for 18 years. She was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church & Altar Society.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro, and Bernarda Jimenez.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 57 years, Rolando P. Mercado of Kingsville; nieces, Bennie Marroquin, and Sylvia Ochoa; sister-in-law, Frances (Manuel) Narvaiz; and numerous other nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 9:30 a.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
