Alvino G. Martinez, 90, of Kingsville, Texas passed away on June 18, 2017 in Kingsville, Texas.
He was born on November 5, 1926 in Kingsville, TX to Anastacio and San Juanita Martinez.
He was a self-employed rancher.
He was preceded in death his wife, Viola Martinez.
Survivors include his six sons, Johnny (Naomi) Martinez of Sunland, CA, Andres D. Martinez of San Antonio, TX, Arturo D. (Bianca) Martinez of Corpus Christi, TX, Richard D. Martinez of Kingsville, TX, Ernesto D. (Cheryl) Martinez of Orange Grove, TX, and Benito D. Martinez of Dallas, TX; three daughters, Carmen M. (Hector) Vela of Gainsville, TX, Delia M. (Ronald Colin) Hale and Christina Martinez both of Kingsville, TX; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 06-21-2017, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, 06-21-2017, at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, 06-22-2017, at 9:45 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with Father Peter Thenan officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
