Obituary

Allen (Dutch) C. Shaw, 85, a resident Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Friday, December 23, 2022, after a hard fight with Dementia.
He was born on March 14, 1937, in Kenedy, Texas to the late Joe L. Shaw and Jarrell Church Kelley.
He graduated from Robstown High School in 1954. Immediately after graduation, he joined the U.S. Army, traveling to Sasebo, Japan. He served his country until 1957. Once home, he held several different jobs. In 1961, he met and married the one and only love of his life, Barbara J. Kelley Shaw. Together, they had three children. In 1967, he went to work for Champlain Petroleum, which later became Citgo Refinery. He was there until his retirement in 1997. He was very active in little league baseball with coaching, announcing, and anything else he could get into.
Allen is survived by his three children, Diana (Gary) MacGregor, Mitch (Teresa) Shaw, and Steven Shaw; one brother, Tom Jacquess; six grandchildren, Brynna, Cody, Cade, Jordyn, Rylee, and Hannah; seven great-grandchildren, Aubree, Oliver, Kacey, Aiden, Cal, Charlie, and Jonah; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Barbara; his brothers, Charles (Chuck), Jim (James), and Joe Jr. Also, stepfather, John Kelley, and stepmother, May Shaw.
A Graveside Ceremony will take place at the Kingsville Resthaven Cemetery, 1114 W. Trant Rd., Kingsville, Tx on December 28, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. The service will be officiated by Brother Bill Dunn.
