Alex Barrera Jr., 62, of Corpus Christi, TX passed away on November 19, 2022, in Corpus Christi, TX.
He was born on November 4, 1960, in Kingsville, TX to Alejandro and Anita Barrera.
He was a retired musician/truck driver.
He is preceded in death by one brother, Ricardo Vega; and two sisters, Nilda Barrera, and Maria Luisa McDonald.
Survivors include two sisters, Gloria Espino of Kingsville, and Anna B. Mendez of Corpus Christi; one brother, Jacob Barrera of Houston; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 9:30 a.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating.
Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Arrangements under the direction of Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
