Obituary

Alejandro G. De La Rosa, 90, a beloved resident of Riviera, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2024, in Kingsville, Texas.
Born on January 23, 1934, in Riviera, Texas, to Santos and Natividad De La Rosa, Alejandro lived a life defined by faith, dedication, and love for his family. As the owner and operator of 77 Wrecker Service, his strong work ethic and commitment to helping others made him a respected figure in his community.
A devoted member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Alejandro's life was guided by his deep faith and compassion. He found joy in sharing stories with his family, cherishing every moment spent with them. Known for his kind and friendly nature, he was a loyal friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Alejandro was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beatrice L. De La Rosa; four brothers; and one sister.
He is survived by his loving children: one son, Jose Andres De La Rosa of Riviera; and two daughters, Bertha D. (Danny) Ramirez of Riviera and Elizabeth De La Rosa of Beaumont. He leaves behind eight cherished grandchildren—Andrew, Andrea, Crystal, David, Victoria, Selina, Sarah, and Brianna—and thirteen precious great-grandchildren. His memory will also be carried on by his two sisters, Maria Elena Franks and Juanita (Ricardo) Perales, both of Houston; one sister-in-law, Amanda De La Rosa; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Riviera, Texas, officiated by Father Andy Sensenig. Alejandro will be laid to rest at Riviera Cemetery, where he will reunite with his beloved Beatrice.
Alejandro's legacy of faith, hard work, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.
