Obituary

Aiden Joseph Evers, age 16, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on July 25, 2026, at Bird Island Basin in Padre Island National Seashore.

Born on December 19, 2009, in Lebanon, Missouri, Aiden brought life, laughter, and love into the lives of everyone who knew him.

Aiden was a student at Flour Bluff High School and a young man whose vibrant spirit and infectious smile left a lasting impression on all who met him. He embraced life with enthusiasm, finding joy in every adventure and every moment spent with the people he loved. Whether he was fishing, golfing, working out at the gym, enjoying game nights, or spending sunny days at the beach with family and friends, Aiden lived each day to the fullest.

His kind heart, adventurous nature, and genuine love for others made him someone who was deeply cherished. His faith was an important part of his life, as he attended St. Andrew by the Sea Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Roy Hatfield; his maternal stepfather, Robert McKeage; his aunt, Melissa Hatfield Stevens; and cousins, Erica and Ashley Kindel.

Left to treasure his memory are his loving parents, Ben and Miranda Evers of Corpus Christi; his four sisters, Sierra Evers, Madison (Cody) Carpenter, Gracie (Tyler) Gillespie, and Lindsay (Dylan) Munsee; and his brother-in-law, J.T. Gragg. He was a proud uncle to Owen, Ezra, Arie, Noella, Brooks, Wesley, and Remington, and looked forward to welcoming two new additions to the family expected to arrive in October. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Leslie Evers; his maternal grandmother, Janet McKeage; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends whose lives were forever touched by his unforgettable spirit.

Those wishing to honor Aiden's memory are invited to attend a Rosary, which will be recited on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Andrew by the Sea Catholic Church, 14238 Encantada Ave., Corpus Christi, Texas 78418. A Funeral Mass will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m.

Family and friends are invited to continue celebrating Aiden's life at a Celebration of Life gathering later that day from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sunny Days Farm and Ranch, 4101 Flour Bluff Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas 78418.

Though Aiden's time on earth was far too short, the love he shared, the memories he created, and the joy he brought to those around him will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
