Agapito G. De Leon, 82, of Bishop, TX, passed away August 21, 2017 in Bishop, TX.
He was born on August 6, 1935 in Los Ramones, N.L. Mexico to Rafael and Lucas De Leon.
He was a retired Furniture Salesman for Buddy Walker Furniture. He was also a member of St. James Catholic Church, and a former member of St. James Choir.
He was preceded in death by his son, Cristobal De Leon.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Dolores D. De Leon of Bishop; three sons, Agapito (Maria) De Leon and Ray (Mary) De Leon, both of Houston, and Danny (Peggy) De Leon of Corpus Christi; two daughters, Betty (Alfred) Contreras of Kingsville, and Linda (Gori) De Leon of Bishop; two brothers, Eloy (Flora) De Leon of Mercedes, and Guadalupe De Leon of Hobbs, NM; one sister, Filomena (Juan) Rodriguez; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sun., 09-03-2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Sun., 09-03-2017 at 7:00 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Mon., 09-04-2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at St. James Catholic Cemetery.
