Adan Maldonado, age 73, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away on July 16, 2026, in Kingsville.

He was born on November 28, 1952, in Kingsville to Juan Francisco Maldonado and Maria Elena Maldonado.

Adan was a remarkably strong and humorous man who took great pride in himself and his belongings.

He loved to dance to Tejano music and especially loved to hang out with his friends. He will be remembered most for the deep love and protective care he always showed his family.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents.

His legacy lives on through his daughter, Norma Jean Maldonado of Kingsville; his sisters, Eva (Roy) Maldonado Garcia of Flower Mound, and Maria Gonzalez of Houston; his brother, Guadalupe Maldonado of Kingsville; his nephews, Frank, Ruben, and Jesse; his nieces, Corina, Ella, Lisa, Irma, Elvia, Kaitlynn, Megan, Rosemary, Mary, and Janie; and a loving family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 AM. A funeral mass will follow at 12:00 PM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, with Father Paulson officiating. Adan will be laid to rest at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
