Dr. Abraham V. "Bane" Campos Jr., 71, of Waskom, TX passed away October 28, 2018 in Marshall, TX.
He was born on November 23, 1946 in Kingsville, TX.
He was a retired teacher from Marshall I.S.D. and a former professor at Wiley University in Marshall, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Abraham and Petra Campos; nephew, Gabriel Lee Campos; and niece, Godi Lynn Campos.
Survivors include one son, Juan Roberto Ovalle of Agua Dulce; three sisters, Elva C. Vela of Bishop, Brigida C. Ruiz of Kingsville, and Sylvia C. (Jesus) Garcia of Kingsville; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sun., 11-04-2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary was held on Sun., 11-04-2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass was held on Mon., 11-05-2018 at 2:00 p.m.at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
