Juan Antonio Villegas de Ochoa, 81, of Monterrey, Mexico passed away August 26, 2020 in Corpus Christi, TX. He was born on August 23, 1939 in Linares, N.L., Mexico to Leandro Villegas and Petra de Ochoa. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.” -John 11:25 Juan Antonio was a retired teacher with the educational system in Mexico. He was a humble servant of the Lord in a lifelong ministry serving God’s Church in Mexico. He was preceded in death by one brother, Lorenzo; and one sister, Oralia. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Maria Elena Barboza of Monterrey, Mexico; one daughter, Elena (Antero) Villegas De Sanchez; two sons, Victor Villegas of Kingsville, and Marco (Sarah) Villegas of Kingsville; seven brothers, Josѐ Humberto, Jorge Javier, Jesús Alonso, Homero Zeferino, Victor Manuel, Ricardo, and Guillermo; three sisters, Socorro, Alicia Agripina, and Rosalinda; five grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sun., 08-30-2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held on Sun., 08-30-2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home with Pastor Servando Torres officiating.
