Irene D. Chase, 84, of Kingsville, Texas passed away February 3, 2022, in Kingsville, Texas. She was born on May 23, 1937, in Bishop, Texas to Wilburn Dory and Alberta Jones. She was a retired homemaker, and a member of St. Paul AME Church where she was active in the women’s missionary society. She also served as the Young People’s and Children’s Division Director. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Chase; two sisters, Catherine Bell and Corine Gaines; two nephews, Derrick Holliday, and Donald King; and one sister-in-law, Frances Hoyt. Survivors include her one son, Quentin Fulbright of Kingsville, Texas; five brothers, LeRoy (Louise) Holliday, James (Lynette) Holliday, Tommy (Marilyn) Holliday, Julius Holliday, and Lloyd (Erica) Holliday; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Visitation will be held on Fri., 02-18-2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul AME Church. A Funeral Service will be held on Fri.., 02-18-2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul AME Church with Pastor Leslie Copeland officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Bishop, Texas. Arrangements under the direction of Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
