Gilberto G. Rivera, 77, of Falfurrias, TX passed away on August 5, 2020 in Corpus Christi, TX. He was born on October 15, 1942 in Falfurrias, TX to Jose and Hortencia Rivera. He was a retired self-employed masonry concrete contractor. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Petra G. Rivera of Falfurrias; five daughters, Odelia (Baldemar) Ramirez of Houston, Rachel (Gilbert) Rodriguez of Kingsville, Noelia (Demetrio) Martinez of Weimar, Olivia (Jose) Carbajal of Falfurrias, and Lynette (Nathan) Rodriguez of Kingsville; three sons, Gilbert (Lydia) Rivera Jr. of Falfurrias, Joel (Lisa) Rivera of Ricardo, and Gerardo (Darla) Rivera of Falfurrias; two sisters, Olga Navarro and Elia Jara of Falfurrias; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, 08-10-2020 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, 08-10-2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home with Deacon Raul Rosales officiating. Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
