Arnoldo Humberto “Kike” Perez Sr., 76, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away January 19, 2017 in Kingsville, Texas. He was born on September 3, 1940 in Kingsville, TX. He retired as a Social Worker Supervisor with the Texas Department of Human Resources. He was a U.S. Army 82nd AirBorne Veteran. He was a 1970 graduate from Texas A & I University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church and also a volunteer for Christus Spohn Kleberg Hospital. He is preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe Hernandez; mother, Cleotilde Hernandez; sister, Graciela Garza; and son-in-law, Rick Garza. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Lupita Perez of Kingsville; two daughters, Maria Imelda (Alonzo) Guevara of Kingsville, and Norma Linda (Rick) Garza of Austin; three sons, Arnoldo (Gracie) Perez Jr. of Kingsville, Angel Ceasar (Rose) Perez of Yuma, Arizona, and Ariel Omar (Lea) Perez of San Antonio; three sisters, Angelica Padron, Virginia Rosales, and Carmen Gaitan; two brothers, Guadalupe Hernandez, and Librado Perez; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be on Mon., 01-23-2017, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held on Mon., 01-23-2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tues., 01-24-2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Peter Thenan officiating and Deacon Raul Rosales assisting. Burial will follow at Kingsville Resthaven Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
